Android Device:Bluetooth
The Bluetooth framework, which allows a device to wirelessly communicate data with other Bluetooth devices, is supported by the Android platform. Android has a Bluetooth API that may be used to do these various tasks.
- Pairing your phone with a Bluetooth item and turning on Bluetooth
- Before you may connect to another device, you must first pair your phone with it.
- From the Home screen, press the Menu key > Settings > Bluetooth.
- Turn on Bluetooth by tapping the switch.
- To make your phone visible to other Bluetooth devices, tick the box next to its name.
- A list of available devices will be displayed. From the list, select the device you wish to associate with.
NOTE
- You may be needed to enter or confirm matching codes, or the devices may connect automatically, depending on the device.
- Your phone will connect to the other device after pairing is complete.
NOTE
- A fixed Bluetooth PIN, such as 0000, may be found on some devices, particularly headsets or hands-free vehicle kits. You'll be prompted to enter the PIN if the other device has one.
