AWS CloudTrail

AWS CloudTrail

AWS CloudTrail is an AWS service that enables you to enable the management, compliance, and risk management of your AWS account. Actions taken by an AWS user, role, or service are recorded as events in CloudTrail. Events include action performed on AWS Management Console, AWS Command Line Interface, and AWS SDKs and APIs.

CloudTrail is enabled for your AWS account when you create one. When the activity takes place on your AWS account, that activity is recorded at the CloudTrail event. You can easily view the latest events in the CloudTrail console by going to the event history. For a continuous record of activity and events in your AWS account, create a track. For more information on CloudTrail prices, see AWS CloudTrail Price.

Visibility in the work of your AWS account is an important aspect of security and efficiency. You can use CloudTrail to view, search, download, archive, analyze, and account account across your AWS infrastructure. You can identify who or what action you have taken, what resources have been made, where the event took place, and other details to help you analyze and respond to activity on your AWS account. Optionally, you can allow AWS CloudTrail Insights on the route to help you identify and respond to unusual activity.

You can integrate CloudTrail into applications using an API, change your organization's route, check the status of the routes you create, and control how users view CloudTrail events.
